In the course of my career. Inquiring about the unexpected recipe, after more than twenty years I discovered a technique which, over time, I have polished until I get what I want.
My work begins with an Egyptian and Maya influence an alphabet of graffiti that govern as signs of a remote cabal in memory of the divine magic manifested in the creation of new images, continues with the importance of mathematics being this the most accurate answer to all the questions. We continue with doors that prevent me from going to the forbidden areas, door element or window closed exclusion and isolation the outside of the defenceless individual.
They arise geometric figures, which become (robotic life.) Where everything becomes a robotised life Who dominates the routine of the human being.
When I find myself threatened by time, there comes a series called “unreal time”, explaining the importance of time.
A stage arises in which I feel that I vanish when I do not find answers.
Which makes me reflect on all these concerns.
Directing to a new stage (Perception) a strong influence of the graffiti which are graphical illustrations and writings of diverse forms of expression and different problems. The concern of the global crisis are embodied in various forms. In this new stage in my canvases and sculptures the resentment of all that is problematic can be seen by admiring the beauty of graffiti.
This leads me to a new stage, twilight zone where I find everything around me is an optical illusion.
The path I have followed in my growth as an artist is, a tale of pain and effort it takes to become a person, to recognise oneself and step out of the line to contemplate the road, a voyage from darkness to light.
